Intern
Greenfox Schools is
seeking an intern to assist in after school programs held in the
Boston/Cambridge area. Interns must
enjoy working with children and have an interest in furthering knowledge about
environmental or sustainability education.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate
or graduate student. He/she should
possess strong communication skills and work well with others.
College Internship: Greenfox Liason
Greenfox Schools is
recruiting motivated undergraduates to start Greenfox5 clubs at colleges and
universities nationwide. Greenfox Schools
aims to recruit interns at several universities to serve as Greenfox Liaisons,
whose work will center around setting up a Greenfox5 club at their given
university and organizing community efforts within their own campus setting.
The mission of the
Greenfox5 club is to inspire leadership and education in the field of
sustainability, to improve campus life and promote hands-on community service,
and to benefit the environment. Students lead sustainability service projects
on campus and in their surrounding community in each category of the Greenfox5:
Energy, Waste, Food, Products, and Greenspace. The Greenfox5 club partners with
community members and existing environmental groups on campus to unite
students, faculty, staff, and local residents in a holistic effort to create a
sustainable campus.
This internship is a
part-time, unpaid position. The ideal
candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent listener, and a good organizer.
Volunteers
Greenfox Schools is
seeking volunteers to assist with community outreach and implementation of
sustainability service projects.
Volunteers should have a strong interest in children and the
environment. The ideal volunteer is
self-motivated, well organized, responsible, and works well with others.
